Legendary Garage was born from a single question: What if we built a GT-R the world never got to see? That question became a mission. One that drives every weld, every engine component, every millimeter of carbon fiber and metal we shape.
Founded by Andrew Hannason, a lifelong GT-R enthusiast and motorsport purist, it began as a pursuit of perfection—an effort to capture the spirit of the GT-R while transcending its era. Drawing from Australia’s deep motorsport heritage, he hand picked a team of designers, engineers, fabricators, tuners and manufacturers, Masters in their own right who don’t just understand performance—they live it.
From its earliest days, Legendary Garage drew inspiration from two intertwined legacies: the technical brilliance of 1990s Japanese performance engineering and the fearless ingenuity of Australian motorsport. The GT-R’s dominance in Group A racing—earning the “Godzilla” moniker after humbling the field at Bathurst—set the standard for what was mechanically possible in its era. At the same time, Australia’s own racing scene forged a culture of resourcefulness and precision, where engineering solutions weren’t purchased, they were engineered, tested, and refined in the crucible of competition. Legendary Garage exists at that intersection, blending Japan’s uncompromising design ethos with Australia’s hands-on racing innovation.
